Privacy Policy — Larderly

Last updated: 7 November 2026

Larderly keeps track of the food in your fridge, freezer and cupboards on your iPhone alone. There is no sign-in, no Larderly server and nothing the app sends over the internet.

What the app stores

Your places and shelves, the items you put away with their dates, quantities and prices, what happened to each of them (used, thrown away, frozen), your usual items, your shopping list and your settings. All of it lives in the app's own storage on your iPhone and stays there.

What we collect

Nothing at all. Larderly has no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no account, and it never connects to the internet.

Reminders

The daily "use first" reminder is off until you switch it on. When you do, iOS asks for permission and the reminder is scheduled on your iPhone itself. You can switch it off in Larderly's settings or in the iOS Settings app whenever you like.

Exports

"Export CSV" builds a file of your items and their history on your iPhone. The iOS share sheet then lets you decide where it goes; the app never sends it anywhere by itself.

Support and ratings

"Contact support" opens your Mail app with our address filled in, and "Rate Larderly" asks iOS to show its own rating prompt. Larderly sees nothing of either; a message only exists if you write and send it yourself.

Deleting your data

Choose "Reset all data" in Larderly's settings, or delete the app from your iPhone.

Children

Larderly collects no information from anyone, children included.
